16/11/16 He transferred to the ambulance train
17/11/16 He was reported very ill in Rouen
His effects were: �
A photo, cards letters wallet belt, pipe, notebook, 2 metal brooches, knife, testament, cap, pouch, badge, small metal cross with stones and 7 coins
A second parcel, 3 knitted squares, kit bag handle, pouch pipe, brush and handkerchief
Mrs. Garvie wrote from Mardan South asking for a certificate of death
22/6/22 Mrs. Garvie received a plaque 22/6/22
Mrs. Garvie sent stamps worth 5/- to cover the cost of 2 photos of his grave. She is later informed that the photos are 3/- each.
22/2/23 Mrs. Garvie received The British War Medal 26/5/24
Eventually she received all medals
