He was invalided home on 15/9/1918 suffering tuberculosis and died on 9/3/1921 from it and exhaustion
He was buried in the Leongatha Cemetery Presbyterian section C40.
He was from Leongatha, Victoria

9/11/16 He is ill in the field with trench fever and trench feet

18/7/17 He has cellulitis and is in hospital in Tidmouth.
From then on he is ill and he is eventually evacuated to Australia from Liverpool in September 1918. He died in 1921
