He was buried in the Leongatha Cemetery Presbyterian section C40.

9/11/16 He is ill in the field with trench fever and trench feet
11/11/16 He is placed in hospital and was taken to England on 13/11/16
23/2/17 He went to depot
18/7/17 He has cellulitis and is in hospital in Tidmouth.
From then on he is ill and he is eventually evacuated to Australia from Liverpool in September 1918. He died in 1921
