He was buried in an isolated grave in a shell hole just west of Mount St Quentin and 1 mile north of Peronne
His parents received a letter to say that he will be reburied in a military cemetery with a Chaplin present and there will be a photo of the grave made available
His father received the Memorial Scroll on 1/8/21, Plaque 7/12/22 and Victory Medal 10/4/23
His effects consisted of: � 1 rosary, a money belt, badges, 1 wrist watch (damaged) and strap. 1 cigarette case, 1 coin, 3 wallets, 1 metal watch damaged, 1 religious medallion, unit colours, photo, cards, 2 religious books
