12/10/15 He was transferred to convalescent hospital Helouan
4/11/15 He was discharged from hospital
7/1/16 He embarked Alexandria on Empress of Britain

31/3/16 He disembarked in at Marseilles
25/7/16 He was killed in action France
His effects consisted of identity discs, spectacles in case, metal cigarette case, tobacco pouch, pocket knife, money purse, testament, 5 coins and a metal cased pencil
30/10/16 His sister, Sarah, wrote for a death certificate and also asked for the correct address for Cecil Robert Thompson. She wrote again on 14/11/16 with the same request
5/9/19 Joseph Thompson asked for a duplicate death certificate.
12/11/19 The Commonwealth Bank asked for details of the Next of Kin of Private Thompson
27/9/1921 The family received his scroll 27/9/1921 and plaque 30/8/21
